Instagram Feed & AR Filters
I revamped Ars Futura’s Instagram feed and created a dynamic AR filter to celebrate their 10th anniversary and launch the new brand identity.
Project Overview
Ars Futura recently underwent a significant rebranding. As part of this transformation, it became clear that their Instagram needed a fresh look. The previous feed, highlights, and overall aesthetic felt outdated and no longer represented the vibrant and dynamic identity they aimed to project. My role was to lead the complete redesign of the Instagram feed to reflect the new brand image.
Additionally, we sought to unveil the new branding at Ars Futura’s 10th anniversary celebration in a unique and engaging way. I developed an Instagram AR filter launched during the event, allowing attendees and the online audience to interact with and share the new brand identity in a fun, innovative way. The filter served as a creative tool to celebrate the milestone and showcase the new branding, making a strong impression and generating excitement around the rebrand.
Instagram Feed and Story Templates
The main challenge was to develop a cohesive and visually appealing Instagram feed that would resonate with both existing and potential clients. The old feed lacked consistency in color, tone, and style, which was not in line with Ars Futura's new branding guidelines. To address this, I created a new visual strategy that included a consistent color palette, typography, and imagery that aligned with our rebranded identity. This involved designing new templates for posts and stories, ensuring every piece of the content felt cohesive and on-brand.
These templates were created to be easily customizable, allowing the marketing team to quickly produce on-brand content without needing to contact the design team for every new post. This not only streamlined our content creation process but also ensured that all Instagram stories were consistently aligned with the new brand aesthetic. By empowering the marketing team with these tools, we were able to maintain a high standard of visual communication across all Instagram content with greater efficiency.
AR Filter
To enhance Ars Futura’s Instagram presence and engage the audience, I came up with the idea to create an Instagram AR filter for the tenth anniversary using Spark AR Studio. The filter was designed to celebrate this milestone and unveil the new branding in an interactive way. It included three distinct effects: the first applied a VHS-style overlay inspired by the 1980s-themed rebrand, the second featured a branding stripe and tagline to reinforce the new identity, and the third used facial recognition to place colorful branding stripes around users. This versatile filter was both fun and shareable, generating excitement and strong engagement during the anniversary celebration by allowing followers to interact with the new brand in a unique way.
Result
The redesigned Instagram feed not only refreshed Ars Futura’s online presence but also significantly boosted engagement rates, reflecting a more modern and cohesive brand image. The story templates allowed the marketing team to independently create content, increasing efficiency and maintaining visual consistency. The AR filter was a hit during the anniversary party, generating excitement among followers. It served as an interactive way to unveil the new branding, making a bold statement and engaging the audience uniquely.
By aligning the social media strategy with the new brand identity, we successfully modernized Ars Futura’s digital presence, streamlined the content creation process, and strengthened the audience connection.
